In partnership with NPL, the Novi Photography Club presents, "What the Creative Mind Sees, the Camera Captures." Thirteen photographers share their artistic perspective of the world as viewed through the lens of their camera.
Join us for the exhibit Opening & Meet the Photographer's Reception. Vote for your three favorite photographs. Snacks and coffee provided. The exhibit will be displayed around the 2nd floor Quiet Study Room through May 2024.

This session is for intermediate to advanced English Language Learners. Free, structured English Lessons. Sign up for an 8 week session. This class is for adults who have lived in Michigan for a period of time and are comfortable/experienced with our culture, customs, travel, education, weather and residence (apartment/condominium/home) living. During the sessions each Adult student will practice/contribute to casual English conversation speaking on various weekly topics. Space is limited.
In this lap-sit program, babies 0-12 months and their caregivers, will enjoy books, bouncing rhymes, songs, and fingerplays to promote early literacy and socialization.Fun and age-appropriate toys will be brought out at the end of story time.No registration is required.

The mission of this group is
to raise mental health awareness, well-being, and self-efficacy in the Novi
Community School District’s (NCSD) K-12 system for students, with the support
of parents, staff, and community members.
Working monthly meetings, as well as quarterly
educational evening events where experts in the social, emotional, and learning
(SEL) field present, are held throughout the school year and summer
months. It is hoped that through offering these community resources that
coping strategies can be gained to help build healthier families, classrooms,
and communities.

Designed to encourage a love of reading, this story time offers 4 and 5 year-olds their own time for stories, songs, conversation and kid fun. Children may choose to attend this story time without their caregiver, but caregivers must remain in the Library during the story time. No registration is required.
